I was a non-believer for electric toothbrush. This product converted me. I was amazed by the 'clean' feeling of my teeth just after a few days. The UV senitizer is an overkill, I stopped using it after a few weeks, unless you share the brush head with someone else, which likely you won't because it is easy to swap the brush heads. It is also difficult to say when a brush head is used and should be changed. My brother has a competing product, but I found the Sonicare more sturdy, with smaller brush heads for easier brushing of back teeth, and a sleeker design.
My sister tried my Sonicare also and refused to give it back :-)
