I received this toothbrush as a gift and the rubber button failed within 5 months (still under warranty). It tore such that it would push in and get stuck on. I have a friend with the same toothbrush and exact same failure method.
I had a tough time getting Philips to send me a replacement and when they did, it was a cheaper model, not the same or equivalent. AND that model failed within 2 months, battery not able to hold a charge for more than 2 uses.
